    @jubejube90 These exercises will build the muscles and make them tight but you have to add cardio in order to lose extra fat. That way the fat doesn’t hid the muscles underneath. I have a strong core, but I still need to get more cardio in so I can’t see my 6 pack but it’s there underneath. I can feel it underneath which is why I need to amp up the cardio. :) lol

    @Firecracker1314 you have to pull in your stomach muscles from the rib cage all the way down to the pelvic floor and hold it tight as you do these exercises. Also, don’t let your pelvis tilt up.It should be neutral against the floor. Same with the ribs since ribs have a tendency to pop up. Instead, even if it feels unnatural at first, draw the ribs down towards the floor. Holding all of this together with ease will take time but it will get easier. It’s all about thinking about the muscle hold.

    @TheVirtualObservist
    When she says bring chin to chest, she is refering to the ‘nod’ or ‘chin tuck’. The purpose of the nod is to elongate the neck muscles so that you aren’t pulling on the neck muscles. The nod helps to elongate while keeping the proper alignment of the spine and neck. She doesn’t explain the neck in this video but in pilates, it’s taught in the beginner courses so that everyone knows.In physical therapy, I was taught the same thing as in Pilates and yoga.

    yea these excercises are crucial but they work if you have bad joints and can’t do a lot of fast impact stuff i definately recommend pilates

    I agree with TheVirtualObservist. I have been doing these Pilates Core Exercises, and they are, I must say, truly great! But the only problem I see with these exercises is that your neck be feeling so awkard, stiff and cranky when u get finished. Is there anything u can do to help your neck out? I would like to ask the lady that demonstrated the exercises, Sarah, was your neck hurting after doing the Pilates? Thanks for your response!

  8. cindycin9 says:

    @TheVirtualObservist It’s actually the exact same thing! It gently longgates the back of the neck, bringing the space in the spin, she’s right!

    total disaster to the pelvic flour. What about the transvers abds? At 6:30 minute one can see the huge push from the belly content outside . Huge stress for the lumbal area. Don’t try it unless you are in an excellent shape!!!! The perfect way to have your discs herniating.

  21. RobertPattinsonLuv3r says:

    @manhenk LMAO

  22. RobertPattinsonLuv3r says:

    @fuzzygreenplants If you don’t feel your lower abdomen burn during the workout, you may have been doing some positions wrong. I agree, though, my neck hurt when I had to hold it up, so I just set it down for just one exercise.

  23. fuzzygreenplants says:

    I don’t think I was doing this right, because it hurt my neck more than anything else.

  24. monkeysinhaven says:

    Do some regular abs workouts, crunches and sit ups, bridge left side right side and center. all the stuff in this video works but its a lot harder than just doing the classic workouts everyone ignores cause ads say they don’t work. in reality they are some of the best to do

  25. manhenk says:

    why is she yelling the whole time, there is just one person right next to her.. that would piss me off!
