@itinkgirlzhot12 yea but these kung fu guys shouldnt go easy and humiliate themselves in front of these 2 who practised for 1 week. These mma fighters should train for more and the kung fu guys should go harder on them.
its not fair… every time these guys do this show, the other students go easy on them. they should go harder, and actually kick their ass, will be more fun
@ChokeYouOutAgain ‘Hardcore?’ If you were not a combat soldier or participating in a no holds or strikes barred matches, then that doesn’t mean anything. Monks are well trained fighters. This is a TV show geared towards MMA guys. Do you really think they would show one of these guys getting a serious beat down? Besides, notice they are not fighting monks, they are fighting San Shou guys, not kung fu, but Chinese wrestling or MMA. They were on equal ground and still barely stood a chance.
i think you’re not even thinking of the most famous names?
all of these guys are extremely well trained, disciplined and also humble.
sure you may get those who learn all this stuff just to run their mouths, but you get that in every sport.
mengh78 you’re in terrible denial. I use to be a hardcore practitioner of Kung Fu, but now I am of BJJ. monks could never defeat a well trained fighter.
@mengh78 preach brother! Have you see that other crappy show? the one with the super wack MMA fighter. he’s so cocky, but if he got into with a shaolin monk…probably wouldn’t have to be any older than 15, he would get his ass whopped! I don’t know why certain people really think they have a chance. Fighting isn’t about being cocky or your pride, its about discipline. I think that’s what MMA lacks
for a guy who can go toe to toe with a pro sanda fighter , hes realy realy good enough to get a draw . Dats wat u call skill respect both white guys man
Real Kung Fu masters don’t take in students so easy. They usually live in more deep into the mountains. This is just an example of real chinese kung Fu. Doug and Jimmy are decent fighters but no way in he’ll they will learn anything in 5 days. Monks don’t fight unless they need to, someone is right that it just look fancy watch the wung chun series for real offense Kung Fu.
Plus pushing people off the ring isn’t the idea. They can easily kill them with a solid kick to the face.

@cosminso1230 well they only have a week of training so it seems pretty fair against guys that have years of training
@mengh78 agreed even best fighter in the universe cant match with karma
I know these guys prob were taking it easy. But so what Doug and Jimmy only got to learn for a week. So to me thats pretty equal.
@Quy4life yes but it’s their show and they had to go easy or else mma fighters would have ended up in hospital

a true shaolin monk who has over years of training would completely obliterate those MMA fighters without breaking a sweat.
@ChokeYouOutAgain hahahahahahahahahaha
@trounds2 also did you noticed that the guy that was sparring with Doug had stronger and faster kicks?

@Ninjamanguy732 you suck end of story
these guys are the luckiest guys in the world, 5 days may be short but still they get to experience a bit of everything.
@face2facechick

look at any of the top notch fighters
fedor, crocop, GSP, Machida, Rua. courture? alaverez? hansen?
i think you’re not even thinking of the most famous names?

@mengh78 Soo true
@face2facechick well unless you didn’t watch the other parts of this episode i assume you heard them say this a kung fu variation of kickboxing.
mengh78 you’re in terrible denial. I use to be a hardcore practitioner of Kung Fu, but now I am of BJJ. monks could never defeat a well trained fighter.
@face2facechick check out georges st pierre or Lyoto machida… they ARE discipliend like no one, and MMA champions
Where is the kung fu? This looks like a regular street fight or MMA. This is wack
